Congratulations to Jack Buckles and Peter Roberts on becoming Aughton Lawn Tennis Club Mens Doubles Champions 2016 last night after a hard fought match versus Graham King and Mike Barker winning 7:5 6:3.
The match was played under lights on an extremely cold night and was umpired by Mike Hyldon. The first set was very close with some long hard rallies from the baseline and the net. This continued in the second set with breaks of serve on both sides but Jack and Peter prevailed to take the final game to love.
